FilinganUnpaidItemDispute

ThewayyounotifyeBayaboutadeadbeatbidderistofilean

UnpaidItemDispute.Youhavetofilethisform(andwaitthe

requisiteamountoftime)beforeyoucanrequestafinalvalue

feecreditontheauctioninquestion.

AnUnpaidItemDisputemustbefiledbetween7and45days

afteryourauctionends.YoufilethedisputebygoingtoeBay's

Security&ResolutionCenter(pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/),

showninFigure24.1.ChecktheUnpaidItemoption,thenclick

theReportProblembutton.WhentheReportanUnpaidItem

Disputepageappears,entertheauction'sitemnumber,click

theContinuebutton,andfollowtheonscreeninstructions.

maketherequestnolaterthan60daysaftertheendofyour

Thehighbidderdidnotrespondtoyouremailsorbacked

outanddidnotbuytheitem.

Thehighbidder'scheckbouncedorastoppaymentwas

placedonit.

Thehighbidderreturnedtheitemandyouissuedarefund.

Thehighbidderbackedout,butyousoldtheitemto

anotherbidderatalowerprice.

OneormoreofthebiddersinaDutchauctionbackedoutof

thesale.
