- Sts read in chorus 3 times, then read individually.
Checking technique: - Matching.
Sts read the first part of a story about what happened to the Jones family last week while
they were on their vacation in Da Lat. - Answer the questions:
Sts read the second part of the story and put them in the correct chronological order.
- Ask Sts to retell the story and then comment the tense of verbs in the story.

III. While- writing : 14’ Set the scene:


Sts work in groups to predict the order of the pictures .
T gives the correct order. Sts use the word cues under the pictures to
tell the story.
Sts work individually to write the story about Uyen.

IV. Post- writing : 13’


Cross grouping: - One student from each group gets together
and form new groups to share and compare their ideas , then choose the best story for
