II. Pre - Writing : 10’


Preteach: - Sts read in chorus 3 times, then read
individually.
Checking technique: - Rub out and remember.
Ask Sts to read the notice, then answer the questions:
1. Which program are the Y and Y members planning to participate in?
2. How can they save natural resources and earn money for the organization?
Content Addictions:
- Talk about the future, using : “ I’m going to...”.

2. Read the passage:


a. Read:
- They are planning to participate in a recycle program.
-They can save natural resources and earn money for the organization by
collecting used class, paper, cans....and sending them for recycle.
b. Complete the letter:
Work in pairs to complete the letter.

III. While - writing : 14’ Sts read the dialogue between Hoa and her


aunt. Write Hoa’s letter to her parents to tell what
she is going to do.
Work in groups to write the letter.

IV. Post - writing : 13’


Sts read the letter before the class. Sts pair compare: correct each other
mistakes in other groups. T gives the correction.

Dear Mom and Dad, I’m very glad to tell you that I’m going to
join the Y and Y Green Group of my school. The Green Group is holding an
environment month plan. We are going to clean the banks of the lakes on the
weekends. We are going to plant trees and flowers in
the school garden and water them every afternoon after class.
We are planting young trees and plants to sell to other schools.
We hope that we will give more green color to the city and earn some money for
our school Y and Y. The program is very interesting and
useful, isn’t it? I’ll tell you more about the group
activities later. Love,
Hoa.
