- T sets the scene then two Qs and ask them to answer before reading the
poem. - Ss work in pairs to answer the Qs
- T has Ss read the poem and check their answers.
- T has Ss practice guessing the meaning of the words by matching
each word in column A with an appropriate explanation in column B.
- T shows 5 Qs from 1-5 on page 51 and gets Ss to work in pairs to answer
the Qs.

Comprehension questions 1. If the pollution goes on, the
