I. Objectives:


By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk to their friends about the T.V programs that they like or dislike.

II. Language contents:


Grammar: Gerund after some verbs Vocabulary: documentary, informative, violent, boring
III. Techniques: Pair work; Question – Answers. IV. Teaching aids: daily television guide, colored chalk, student’s book

Supplements
- T divides class into 2 teams then chooses 6 volunteers from each team
- The volunteers stand in 2 lines - T shows the first student in each
line a sentences. - The first St. whispers the sentences
to the next person in his line, the second St. whispers to the third…and
so on, the last St. shouts out the sentences if it is the same as the T
shows, that team win the game
- T explains new words - Ss graph the meaning, listen and
repeat then copy down - T uses “rub out and remember” to
check vocab. WARM UP

- T asks Ss to read the dia between Lien and Trung and complete it
- Ss do as T requires - T has Ss read the dia in pairs before
class check their pronunciation intonation of TAG question. Then
explains TAG question - Ss do as T requires

- T asks Ss to pick out sentences showing agreement and
disagreement and ask them to practice.
- T asks Ss to read the TV guides to do network
- T has Ss talk each other about the TV programs they like or dislike

TAG q. - T has Ss find out the most and the
least favorite TV programs of their group.
